I'M GETTING BIGGER!

I have been back to the hospital a few times for different things but I like to stay home with my family the most.  I love sitting up in my boppy pillow, but I don't like to wait too long for my bottle.  I get stronger and healthier everyday, I'm almost 11 months old!

I was only home with my family for a week and a half.  I caught pneumonia :( and had to come back to the hospital.  I'm a fighter though and doing much better.  I might even be able to go home next week.

I surprised my Mom and was born 16 weeks early...at home!  I was rushed to a hospital close to home and stayed there for 2 months.  When I needed to have emergency surgery, I came to St. Louis Children's Hospital and lived in the NICU for anther 3 months.  I had a big operation on my belly, overcame an infection in my blood, and beat pneumonia.  I'm healthier now and am happy to be going home with my family!

At 18 months, Mom says we are awesome!  Baby sister still deals with some belly issues so she’s a bit smaller but we are ALL growing great, walking, running, talking, happy, and healthy :)

We're all doing great!  I'm the baby sister, smaller than my brothers at 13 pounds but we are all healthy, growing and learning how to talk.   My biggest brother weighs 17 pounds and likes to say "Wheee, Daddy, Blah."  My brother on the right weighs 15 pounds and Mommy loves it when he says "Mama."

I'm the sister and the smallest baby (at 9 lbs, 3 oz) so I get tell you more about my family.  

It was hard being separated from my brothers when we were in the NICU.  Now we are 4 months old and finally together again at HOME!  One of my brothers has stridor but it's getting better every day.  Both of my brothers weigh over 11 pounds now.  Since my belly got all fixed up with one more operation, I plan on catching up with them soon.

January, 2013:  I’m still living in the NICU.  I've had some trouble with getting milk in my lungs when I eat.   The surgeons said I need to grow up a little more before they can find out why.  For now, I  have a special tube that goes directly into my intestines for my feedings.  I don't like the tube so I'm working on growing big and strong.

January, 2013  I had some breathing problems and spent the first month of my life in the NICU.  I'm at home now, paving the way for my brother and sister.  I can't wait until we're all together again, I miss them very much.

October 19, 2012:  We’re twin boys born 4 months early and share a room at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center.  I’m the one in the top photo, born 2 days after my brother.  We’ve both come a long way since we were born 2 1/2 months ago.  I weighed 1 pound, 3.4 ounces and now weigh 4 pounds, 6.6 ounces.  I’ve learned to eat from a bottle and hope to go home very soon.  My big brother weighs 4 pounds, 14 ounces and has already had 4 surgeries.  He’s growing big & strong just like me but needs 2 more surgeries before he’s ready to go home.  He has to have his belly fixed and the doctors need to put a special drain in his head.
