What does GiFT do? GiFT help families who have or have had critically ill newborns in neonatal intensive care units (NICU). Check the PROGRAMS tab to see the types of support we provide.

Does GiFT help families pay medical bills?  No. GiFT is unable to assist in paying medical expenses at this time. We hope that we will be able to offer this assistance in the future.

How can I get GiFT support for my family? GiFT families are referred by licensed clinical social workers who specialize in working with NICU families. If you think you may need support from GiFT, talk with the NICU social worker about a referral.

Can I donate money to GiFT?  Yes!  Check out our DONATE page for more information. All monetary donations are tax deductible. GiFT is a 501C3 tax exempt organization (FEIN 80-0697118)

If I make a cash donation to GiFT, how will my money be spent?  GiFT is operated 100% by volunteers and we make every dollar stretch to it's full potential. Nearly all of our funds go directly to helping NICU families in need. If you'd like your donation to go toward a specific family or program, just let us know.

What types of items can I donate to GiFT?  We are always in need of infant care essentials. Contact us if you'd like to host a baby shower or product drive for GiFT

I do not want to donate money or items to GiFT, is there another way I can help?  Yes!  We need volunteers to help out at the Distribution Center and to keep the organization going. If you're willing to help, we will create a way for you to get involved.  Contact us if you have an idea!

The question I have is not answered here, how can I get more information?  Please contact Jennifer Krassinger, GiFT’s Founder, with any questions you may have via email jennifer@givingisafamilytradition.org or give us a call (314) 472-3392.
