We are growing and doing well, our Mommies think we are so much fun! Sister just talks and talks but brother isn't taking just yet, it will happen in his own time. Our whole family wants to say thanks!
"No words or money could even describe how thankful we are for your organization! GiFT has been such a blessing for our family. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all GiFT has done for us. GiFT will always have a special place in our hearts!"
Although small for their age at 16 months, these two are growing up! They've come a long way from the NICU and have both overcome hurdles. They continue to work with specialist in occupational, developmental, and physical therapy three times a week.
Baby sister weighs 17 lbs and is 26 inches long. She is walking and walks everywhere! She loves to look at books and the pictures, we have a reader! She also loves to get into drawers in the kitchen.
Baby brother is such an affectionate little boy and loves to give kisses. He weighs 20 lbs is also 26 inches long. He is crawling, but not quite walking on his own, he walks along the furniture. He loves to play basketball with his mommies. He is also a big flirt too!
My sister and I are both home and doing well. We both weigh about 8 lbs 3 oz's. My sister caught up to my size because I had trouble eating at first, but now I take medicine for reflux and eat formula instead of mommy's milk. ~
My sister got to go home first and I stayed in the hospital for awhile to work on my breathing and eating. I'm still having some trouble with eating but it's getting better everyday. I'm just happy to be home with my sister and to have my whole family all together.
We are brother and sister and came 10 weeks early. We went straight to the NICU and both needed machines to help us breath when we were born. Our lungs are working a little better every day. We've both had some ups & downs but the doctors say that's normal for babies our age.
